GRADE LEVEL LEADS
Grade Level Leads help plan, organize and implement grade level events, as well as teacher appreciation initiatives. Grade level events occur after school hours and provide opportunities for full family interaction to build a greater sense of class connection!
Each year, we select two volunteers from each grade to serve as yearlong community-building partners who help to foster strong connections among our families, staff, and students. As a Grade Level Lead (GLL), you will help bring our Spartan spirit to life by working with your fellow GLLs to organize the following -
Enfield
Student Fun Nights
Kindergarten and 1st Grade (Combined Event)

VIP event (student can bring 1 guest, their "VIP")

to be held in the Enfield gym and cafeteria

activity stations to be set up so that the event is more purposeful and groups can move between activities
2nd Grade (Individual Grade Event)

Teacher Lounge Takeovers
The six (6) Grade Level Leads (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade) will work together to plan two (2) Teacher Lounge Takeovers, a staff appreciation effort to treat Enfield teachers and support staff.

Spring Carnival Basket
Each set of Grade Level Leads will work with their grade level partner to a prepare a raffle basket for the Spring Carnival. Baskets will be raffled off during the Carnival to support EEHSP initiatives.
Erdenheim
At Erdenheim, the Grade Level Leads will work with their grade level partner to plan -

3rd Grade Family Night

Theme to match up with 3rd grade curriculum and be discussed with 3rd grade teacher lead.

Theme can change yearly. Theme for the 2025-26 school year was "Light and Sound" and consisted of a science show followed by a glow dance party/DJ..

4th Grade Family Night

Typical timing for the event is the last week of February / 1st week of March.

Annual theme is Planets. Students choose and research a planet and then prepare a project based on what they have learned.

Family Night consists of a prismatic magic laser light show, 4th grade planet projects on display, telescopes, and a craft.

Teacher Lounge Takeovers (TLT)

With their grade level partner, the 3rd and 4th Grade Level Leads will each organize a Teacher Lounge Takeover, a staff appreciation effort to treat Erdenheim teachers and support staff.

Two Teacher Loung Takeovers to be scheduled during the school year - one in Fall/Winter and one in Winter/early Spring.

Selection Process
At Back to School Night, teachers will provide a link for parents and guardians to submit their name for Grade Level Lead. Two (2) Grade Level Leads will be randomly selected per grade. For more information, please review the Grade Level Lead Guide.
All names must be submitted by Thursday, September 17, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed and Grade Level Leads will be notified by the Vice President of Grades at your school by Friday, September 25, 2026.
The Vice President of Grades for your school will be your contact as Grade Level Leads and can provide helpful suggestions and guidance throughout the year,
