Enfield - Erdenheim Home and School Partnership (EEHSP)
The purpose of the Enfield - Erdenheim Home and School Partnership (EEHSP) is to provide and encourage strong family, staff and community involvement to strengthen and enhance the educational environment. We strive to make each child’s potential a reality by providing opportunities to learn, communicate and grow as students and community members. The EEHSP acts to empower members to share ideas, experiences, problems and solutions, and to cooperate in an informed manner in the education of the K-5 students of Springfield Township.
Collaboration: We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to accomplish our agreed-upon goals. Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others. Inclusivity: We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible. Membership is open to any parent or guardian of an Enfield or Erdenheim Elementary student, as well as staff from either school. Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the mistake and seek to make amends.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We advocate parent involvement, support curriculum related programs and sponsor community building fun events. When possible, we offer parent education, staff support, school equipment and much more! We are proud to work jointly with staff in planning several enrichment activities.
The EEHSP emerged when our two elementary schools’ student populations were combined in September of 2010. The EEHSP now serves both buildings, providing resources for parents, staff, and students in grades K – 5. We hope that this website provides you with more insight as to what we are all about as an organization, and we really hope you get involved with it, too!
Any parent or guardian for a student in, or any staff member employed by, the elementary schools of Springfield Township are automatically a member of EEHSP. EEHSP serves the entire population of families of elementary school students and staff; all are invited to exercise ownership in the organization and make it their own. Members may attend EEHSP general meetings and participate in discussions or events.
