The MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series
EEHSP and the MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series are proud to present Tracey Baptiste as our 2026 Visiting Author. Visit dates are:
Erdenheim: March 17, 2026
Enfield: March 18, 2026

2026 Visiting Author: Tracey Baptiste
Tracey was born in Trinidad and Tobago, a small Caribbean island just off the coast of South America, within swimming distance of Venezuela.

From the author:

I have always loved stories.
Mostly fairy tales and old family lore.
In fairy tales, things are often not what they seem.
In family lore, people are often surprising.
Both kinds of stories speak to my curiosity and sense of wonder.
So naturally, as an author, I write about family and fantasy and history...
and sometimes, science.
My characters are brave, kind, smart, and determined.
My stories are often a lot more than they seem.

Tracey shares her Author's Journey on her website.

About The MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series:
EEHSP and the School District of Springfield Township have established the MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series to remember the contributions of Debbie MacFarland Corrigan, who served as an educator in the district. The support for this series comes from the Debbie MacFarland Corrigan Memorial Fund at the Philadelphia Foundation. The EEHSP and District staff will use these funds to bring reputable speakers in the areas of fine arts, music, and literature to the students of the Enfield and Erdenheim Elementary Schools.
