2026 Visiting Author: Tracey Baptiste
EEHSP and the School District of Springfield Township are excited to introduce the New York Times bestselling author, Tracey Baptiste, as our 2026 Visiting Author. Tracey has written over 35 titles, including award winning fiction and nonfiction picture books, middle grade, young adult, and graphic novels.
Ms. Baptiste will be visiting Erdenheim on Tuesday, March 17th and Enfield on Wednesday, March 18th. She will meet with students during special presentations in the school libraries, where she will go in depth about her work and career as an author.
As her visit draws near, we encourage families to explore Ms. Baptiste's body of work and learn about her journey as an author by visiting her website. Our school librarians have noted which books will be discussed at each school (see below), while her full range of publications can be found here.

Ms. Baptiste will be focusing on the following titles by grade:

K - 3rd: Super Goat Girl, Mermaid and Pirate, and The Kids in Mrs. Z's Class: Fia Hosein Finds Her Beat (Tracey's newest book, releasing March 10, 2026!)

Book Signing
If you are interested in having a book(s) autographed by this year's author, please follow the steps below:

Purchase any Tracey Baptiste title(s) from a vendor of your choice or gather copies you already own!

Complete the Book Signature Form and print the confirmation copy that will be emailed to you.

Send books to school with your printed confirmation by Monday, March 16th (one form per student; please list all applicable titles on the form).

Signed books will be sent home with your child via backpack mail by Friday, March 20th.

About The MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series:
EEHSP and the School District of Springfield Township have established the MacFarland Corrigan Speaker Series to remember the contributions of Debbie MacFarland Corrigan, who served as an educator in the district. The support for this series comes from the Debbie MacFarland Corrigan Memorial Fund at the Philadelphia Foundation. The EEHSP and District staff will use these funds to bring reputable speakers in the areas of fine arts, music, and literature to the students of the Enfield and Erdenheim Elementary Schools.
