EEHSP Past Highlight - Sustainability Committee - 4 Elements Earth Education Assembly

The EEHSP Sustainability Committe was proud to present an assembly from the staff at 4 Elements Earth Education at Enfield Elementary School on April 14th. 

The Sustainability and Garden Committee organizes activities and events that will help instill a sense of environmental stewardship in our school community. We hope that by giving our children the tools they need to care for and appreciate their environment, we will have a real impact on the sustainability of our school district. We want our students to understand their place in and relationship with the natural world that sustains them daily. Each student should feel empowered in their ability to make a difference.  Our committee is working in partnership with school administration and teachers, the Erdenheim Sustainability Spartan Choice, and the High School Sustainability Club, as well as local businesses. In 2023, we are installing raised garden beds at Enfield Elementary and organizing a school assembly at Enfield with 4 Elements Earth Education. We have provided collection bins at both Enfield and Erdenheim to collect drawing implements that will be recycled through the BIC Terracycle program.  If you have suggestions, donations, or would like to join our committee, please reach out: sustainability@eehsp.org
